Kullu Manali Sightseeing

About Kullu Manali

The Best Travel Destination for You and Your Family

Manali, often referred to as the "Valley of the Gods," is a premier Himalayan resort town situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of approximately 2,050 meters (6,726 feet). Historically, it served as a vital stop on ancient trade routes to Ladakh and Central Asia, and its name is derived from "Manu-Alaya" (Abode of Manu), referring to the Hindu lawgiver Sage Manu who, legend says, recreated human life here after a great flood.

Manali is one of India’s most iconic hill stations, offering a blend of ancient culture, snow-capped vistas, and a thriving cafe scene.
